The average person types around 40 WPM. Reaching 60+ WPM is considered fast, while 80+ WPM puts you in the "highly skilled" bracket. In 60s Rush, our Hard tier starts at Level 35 (81+ WPM) — that's your target to aim for.
WPM = (total characters typed ÷ 5) ÷ time in minutes. We use the standard 5-character word definition. In 60s Rush, your WPM is calculated over exactly 60 seconds, giving a clean benchmark to compare across sessions.
Practice Mode is unlimited and untimed — great for drilling consistency and building muscle memory. 60 Sec Rush is a strict 60-second test across 50 levels divided into Easy (1–17), Medium (18–34), and Hard (35–50). Rush is for benchmarking your peak speed.
